The KwaZulu-Natal Department of Education Bursaries 2012 to Non-employees Residing in KwaZulu-Natal

The Department of Education is committed to principles of Employment Equity, to the National Skills Development Strategy, and the Department’s key strategic priorities. Note: All successful applicants will be required to enter into a contractual agreement with the KwaZulu-Natal Department of Education. Students on completion of their studies will be placed in any school in the province.

South African citizens between the ages of 18 and 35,  Applicants who reside and study in KZN will be given preference,  Study full-time at a recognized residential KZN University,  Excellent record of academic performance at school or tertiary institution,  Applicants must not be currently benefiting from any other bursary scheme,  Needy applicants who qualify in terms of the means test will be given preference,  We will consider only applicants studying towards a teaching qualification specializing in Mathematics, Science, Technology, and Accounting.

Scholarship Deadline: 28 October 2011.
