Research Fellowship in fMRI at University of Melbourne, Australia 2012

As an integral part of a research team, the Research Fellow in fMRI will design and develop research projects, leading and writing grant applications for research funding around clinical and research use of fMRI. The Research Fellow is also responsible for training clinicians, researchers and students in fMRI research. The incumbent will be encouraged to form links with the Parkville Precinct in fMRI, identifying opportunities for collaborative research.

-PhD in Imaging Science, Science, Computer Science or Engineering -Post doctoral experience in fMRI – Knowledge and experience with acquisition and post processing of fMRI including: block design, event related and resting state fMRI -Knowledge and experience with fMRI post processing packages: FSL, SPM or equivalent -Track record of publications in fMRI – Demonstrated ability to attract competitive funding and to pursue research independently and as part of a team -Excellent interpersonal and communication skills -Excellent organisational and administrative skills
