PhD Student Position in Health Sciences at University of Queensland, Australia

A research project in the Centre’s Research Stream 1: Quality and sustainability in maternity share-care aims to investigate the quality, governance and sustainability of share-care maternity record delivery within an e-health framework across the continuum of clinical Microsystems. The CRE has a number of PhD students currently undertaking research around the clinical outcomes and e-health processes for this clinical group. It is envisaged the successful PhD candidate will undertake an implementation research project addressing issues to better understand context dependence of system processes, for example, change management, efficiency and integration of care. The successful candidate will be involved in further developing and refining the research.

Applicants must comply with the relevant entry requirements: a) Applicants should possess a Bachelor (H1 or H2A) or a Masters Degree majoring in a health related field. Applicants must be willing to apply for a scholarship package (assistance will be given with this). b) Applicants must have experience working with health information in developing countries, or with a multilateral or bilateral health and development agency, would be an advantage.
