PhD Scholarships in Physics and Engineering at IMPRS-OPTIM, Germany

Research topics span the range from fundamental optics to applied optics and medical imaging. The school provides excellent research conditions for highly motivated post-graduate students. The programme is jointly organised by the Max Planck Institute for the Science of Light, the University of Erlangen-Nuremberg, the Fraunhofer Institute for Integrated Circuits IIS, the Friedrich-Schiller University Jena and the Fraunhofer Institute for Applied Optics and Precision Engineering IOF

The doctoral degree will be awarded by one of the faculties of natural sciences or engineering. An excellent degree, equivalent to a diploma or master in physics, engineering or computer science is required.
