Junior Research Fellow (JRF) Positions 2011 in DAE-YSRA Research Project, Institute of Forensic Science, Chandigarh

Applications are invited for the position of a Junior Research Fellow (co-terminus with the research project) to work in the Department of Atomic Energy (DAE) BRNS YSRA project entitled “Latent fingerprint detection in forensic application utilising inorganic nanoparticles: synthesis and characterization”. The aim of the project is to synthesize and characterize the inorganic nanophosphors to detect latent finger prints.

The fellow is expected to work at Institute of Forensic Science & Criminology, Panjab University, Chandigarh. The amount of fellowship and eligibility will be as per DAE and Panjab University norms. M.Sc. in Physics / Forensic Science or equivalent with minimum 55% marks, with consistently good academic records with CSIR/UGC NET qualification.
