The scholarships are made possible through a bequest left to Concordia by Mr. Alfred Bacher. Mr. Bacher was a Concordia alumni from the class of 1965 the Faculty of Arts and Science. Selection of the candidates will be based on their admission application. The award is valued at $3,333 per term and is tenable within the first three terms of a master’s program. The scholarship is non-renewable. Recipients must maintain a GPA of 3.7/4.3 or greater and good academic standing throughout tenure of their award.
The scholarships are open to applicants seeking admission to a master’s program, there is no citizenship restrictions. Candidates must have a minimum CGPA of 3.7/4.3 (A-) or greater in all their university studies and demonstrated academic achievement in order to be considered for the scholarship.
