Positions will be awarded for two years, with the possibility for a temporary extension subject to progress evaluation. Successful candidates will receive infrastructure support from the Centre. Fellows will be expected to publish in international scientific journals, and to develop a project application for external funding in one of the six MZES research clusters. An excellent dissertation in sociology or political sciences, submitted within the last two years, is required for this full-time employment for at least two years beginning in autumn 2011. Salary is commensurate with experience and qualification and is between 43,000 and 50,000 Euros (according to public pay scheme TV-L E13), with additional employer benefits.
